EQ just finished our remodel of a 49 year old home...basically soup to nuts. We're talking replacing everything from floor joists to roof line; removing a fireplace wall and raising ceilings; replacing flooring, insulation, walls, trims, electric; complete gut and remodel of the kitchen, 2 baths and laundry; replacing the pool surround fence; installing a paved patio space; adding a custom awning over the front entry; and a hardwired generator system.
This was our 7th remodel project, over 3 locations, having used 4 other contractors in the past. EQ was the first and only on this location and was BY FAR the easiest and nicest crew to work with! We closed on the house on a Friday, and they began the demo the following Monday. Basically 6 months, numerous changes and additions along the way, and every detail and concern addressed to near perfection. From Allen Sparks the general contractor, Matt Sadler the job manager, Jake Sims the crew manager, Allison Shelor who managed finishes, to Jordan who did the tile work, Barron who handled wiring and all the rest of the crew and sub-contractors (George the painter, in particular)..we simply couldn't have asked for a better team! And now that we've truly settled into the house, have been through the 5 day blackouts and have self isolated/social distanced for weeks on end, we can honestly say there's no place we'd rather be...and that is in large part to EQ Custom Builders. If there's a better contractor team out there, we've never heard of them. You can't go wrong with EQ!
